Elevator manufacturers need to choose the appropriate hydraulic oil to maintain the hydraulic system. The hydraulic oil of the lifting platform plays the role of transmitting pressure, lubrication, cooling and sealing in the hydraulic system. The improper selection of hydraulic oil is the main reason for the early failure and durability decline of the hydraulic system. The hydraulic oil shall be selected according to the brand specified in the manual. When the substitute oil is needed in special circumstances, its performance shall be the same as that of the original brand. Different brands of hydraulic oil can not be mixed to prevent chemical reaction and performance change of hydraulic oil. Dark brown, milky white and peculiar smell hydraulic oil is metamorphic oil and cannot be used.

　　During the maintenance of the lifting platform, remove the filling cap, filter cap, inspection hole, hydraulic oil pipe and other parts of the hydraulic oil tank, so as to avoid dust when the system oil passage is exposed, and the disassembly parts should be thoroughly cleaned before opening. For example, when removing the oil filler cap of the hydraulic oil tank, first remove the soil around the oil tank cap, loosen the oil tank cap, remove the debris left at the joint (do not flush with water to prevent water from seeping into the oil tank), and open the oil tank cap only after confirming that it is clean.

　　To prevent solid impurities from mixing into the hydraulic system, clean hydraulic oil is the life of the hydraulic system. There are many precision parts in hydraulic system, some have damping holes, some have gaps, etc. If the solid impurities invade, it will cause the precision parts to be pulled, hairpin and oil passage to be blocked, which will endanger the safe operation of the hydraulic system. Generally, the ways for solid impurities to invade the hydraulic system are as follows: the hydraulic oil is not clean; the oiling tools are not clean; the oiling and maintenance are not careful; the hydraulic components are desquamated, etc.
